Any idea when the next generation of graphic cards are out?

Seems like the 8800 series has been out ages..anyone heard any rough dates of when the next gen card will come out? I'm running on a OC'd 7900 GT at the moment and it's running things ok I guess - just don't think I'd get a huge increase going to the 8800 GT so would prefer to wait for the next one.

In newer games the 8800GT would be an enormous improvement over your 7900GT. Nothing confirmed yet as to when Geforce 9 will appear but rumours indicate sometime around February.

You would get a huge increase from the 8800GT, but D9E is supposedly due February.

Rumours say February for nvidia's next round of cards. But they're not exactly the most reliable of rumours.

You will see a big increase going from 7900GT to 8800GT; a factor of two in most cases.

Cheers guys - Feb huh i'll wait and see. This runs games ok - just struggles with 1920 x 1200 ..I don't want to bother paying out to run games better but still struggle with crysis etc. ..so I'm hanging on for the next gen=)
