Hi all,
My ‘03 Yaris has had a rough couple of weeks.
At the start of the month, I experienced a blown flue (relating to operation of the dashboard, windows and indicators) whilst driving. Upon replacing said fuse, all was well until last week when the same fuse blew again. Once more, I replaced the fuse and had no problems until yesterday where the fuse has blown approximately 4 times within quite short time periods (per 20-30 mins of driving).
I had aimed to take the car into a garage today in order to locate any short circuits causing the same fuse to continually blow, though all reputable garages in my area are without their car electricians until the New Year. Upon parking my car outside my house, I’ve now come to realise that my car is no longer starting. Before my car would start up without a hitch, whilst now I hear a single click without hearing any attempt from the engine to turn over.
So I now have an immobile vehicle. Any idea if both issues are linked, and, if so, the cause for their incidence?
Many thanks in advance!
