Any ideas about this problem guys?

When I try to open a site through IE8 I get ...... 'Internet Explorer cannot display this web page' and when I try "diagnose problem" I get this dialogue:


(address) is not set up to establish a connection on port "world wide web service (HTTP)"

I don't have any problem with other addresses and have used this one before without difficulties; I can also ping the site ok but as I said, I can't open it in Internet Explorer.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

The web server on the target machine is down, possibly for maintenance or it may simply have crashed. A successful ping will only tell you that the box itself is alive.
