Any ideas for old hardware?

I have an:
Asus Sabertooth X58
i7 950
12gb Corsair

I am guessing its worth next to nothing, any ideas what I could get out of it? Thought about a media box but what would a cheap of cheap Smallest case and GPU cost? Might not be worth it.

these for your current hardware for a media box, but from the used market otherwise if you wanted itx and a small case you would need new system.

Although not on the officially supported CPU list for that motherboard, I've read a that there are people that have managed to get LGA1366 Xeon CPUs to work on it:

I would look for a dirt cheap deal on a 2nd-hand, 6 core, LGA1366 Xeon and try to overclock it as high as possible.

X58 boards are still fetching decent prices. Consider selling it as bundle unless you really need i7 performance in a spare PC.

Just seen the prices some of them are going without anything attached, I think I will just sell it, it has a few months old Hyper 212 EVO PRO on it. The only thing with it is the first GPU PCI slot the clip is broken.
