This is my amp,it can be connected to my tv for on-screen menu ect,i don't have the manual and was wondering if anyone can tell me what connection will connect to my tv,is it the top yellow one ?

It depends what inputs you have on your TV. The yellow composite video out should work just fine.

either monitor outs will work, use the yellow composite to yellow on tv and sound via red and white multisource out.

could use the green red blue monitor out for better image quality depending on source

"avr4800 manual" seems to produce a bit better results and is largely similar - for some reason the UK model "manual" is more like a quickstart guide.

The top s-video one ?
Not sure my tv has s-video,what lead is needed for this ?

Yep. You need a S-Video to Scart lead. Even then it may not work, S-video/S-VHS is hit & miss with modern tellies. I tried it last year with dad's new telly & both his DVD player & VHS recorder. I gave up in the end & this is coming from someone who usually gets things to work in the finish. Fortunately the VHS recorder packed up so it was just a case of Scart for the DVD player. I just wish that HDMI was around 20 years ago, It would've made my job of setting tellies I sold to customers a whole lot easier. :p

At lest now you can sell them new TV's ,DVD players, AV amps etc etc again by telling them they need brand new ones with HDMI inputs/outputs..;)

And then again in a few years time when everything goes 4k needing HDMI version 2.0 (Or 3.0 or what ever version it going to be by then)

I had a amp with HDMI before this one and didn't like the sound, this amp just oozes warm sounds, films are pretty damn amazing also.
