Upgraded my machine to:

AMD X2 4400+
2gb Ram (2 x Corsiar 512mb and 1 x 1gb Corsair)
Asrock 939Dual-sata2
CMD ATA100 Raid card (Silicon image 649 chipset)
Sound Blaster Audigy Value
Geforce 6800GT (AGP)
2 x IBM 160GXP 120gb in Raid 0
3 x Optical Drives.

Now i can install windows fine (xp home and 2k pro), but as soon as install the service pack (Sp2 or sp4) the system just goes mad and i get blue screens everywhere. I have tried replaceing everyting but GFX card, memory, RAID Card + HDDs but i don't think it could be gfx card. I can run Memtest for over a day so i don't think its that, could the Raid card and Harddisks be doing this, i would have thought if it was them i would have problems just installing windows?

edit, just finnished my 10th install today and after win2k sp4 i got this, "services.exe - Corrupt Disk

The files system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume C:?"

Think i am going to try a known good old 60gb HDD
