New machine, things are going swimmingly.
I've put all the standard things on and I'm just starting to install programs.
Whatever I install causes problems, half way through an install things start to slow down. Then when I reboot after installing the program it will not pick up the hard disk and say there is no bootable media around.
Then a restart fixes that but it then takes 5 minutes to boot up into windows and I'm greeted with a jerky mouse, the mouse then becomes smoother but it takes ages to load up applications.
My first reaction was the hard disk but if I restore the system back before I installed the particular program then it's fine.
Next reaction was drivers but what drivers are installed with BBC iPlayer Download manager, Adobe photoshop 3 and Toca Race driver.
I'm clueless .
