Any Illustrator pros?

I need to trace an image in to a lovely anti-aliased vector image and have absolutely no idea how.

Anyone familiar with illustrator (I presume this is the correct tools for the job) fancy showing me how or simply doing it. I've spent ages trying in photoshop, to no avail.

I've tried to include some of the process for you to see how I did it. But with something that simple I usually just redraw it.
