Planning on turning off vsync which limits the frame count to 60 in League of Legends and just wondered if anyone had done this and noticed any difference or issues?

!!

Because one person is not indicative and I was interested/intrigued to know of the experiences of others - what with this being a large forum of gamers afterall!

Having a v-sync option isn't a 60FPS cap, it's a cap to whatever the refresh rate is. I only point this out as the title makes it sound like the game itself is actually limited to 60FPS, and that you're asking if you'll be okay to use a hack to get it to run faster.

Ah yes - valid point, it is about disabling vsync rather than hacking anything - I dont have the time or knowledge for that lol

No problems for me, although I don't think my settings are maxed (never really touched them to be honest). Since disabling it, mine hovers between 170-220. Running at 1920x1080 on a 560Ti and it's buttery smooth.
