Hi people,

This is for any Japanese speakers here...

Basically, when writing ‘FAX’ (the abbreviation) in Japanese, is it normal to write it in English, i.e. write it as ‘FAX’? Also the same question for ‘OK’?

Lol, I was off on the second part, however thats our teacher in School, not a japanase teacher but he claimed to know how to count, obviously not as good as he thought he was

Not good at counting in general if he thought 7 words could be 0 to 8

It could be seen as a bit offensive to use fax in English. Bokki Chin-Chin (phonetically) is fax, you will look more professional

Jap isn't considered a racial slur Nip is the racial slur or slanty eyed gooks if your feeling really angry.

I would love to learn Japanese, Chinese or any other far eastern language for that matter. I love their style of writing.

Must be pretty hard to grapse something without a familiar looking alphabet!

My aunt is fluent in mandarin mind you, but I wasn't born with her flare of languages unfortunately!
