I've just placed an order for 1 x Peppered 100g, 1 x Habanero 50g and 1 x Teriyaki 100g, has anyone tried these particular varieties, as I've only tried fairly standard ones that my mate bought back from the USA and some Ostrich jerky from Aus.

I used The Jerky Store , are there any others out there?

You sir have taste !

I practically lived on jerky while in the states. The Teriyaki is yumtastic !

I thought the Jerky Store was a gentlemen's club in Wapping.

* oops, no jokes ;) *

I had a feeling that this would turn into a Gigglefest and I knew that you wouldn't be able to help yourself, joke wise that is. ;)

There's a Jerky store?

I usually get mine in Sainsburys.

Thats where I normally get mine, but this is a lot cheaper and more varieties, I just hope they taste ok.

[smut]hehehe, jerky[/smut]

ok thats done with, I've been looking for a nice place to get some, but its all crud here tbh,
I know a nice place in colarado I used to get some from but they don't mail, hell they don't even have a store

I have made my own just by marinating strips of beef in soy sauce and placing on a rack in the oven for 10 hours on the lowest heat. I've made it with red wine and chilli too.

Yum :)

ive tried most flavours , its very expensive when you shovel it down :) , i now make my own using a dehydrating machine :D ,i prefer to all it by its african name 'biltong' doesna sound asbad as jerky :D

edit * i used to buy mine here

Got a huge chunk of jerky to take home in Selfridges (I think it was) last time I was up in the Trafford centre. I also bought some biltong.

Mmm, chewy :)

I've always wanted to try jerkey after seeing people talk about it all the time on US shows. What is it? Dried beef?

There's an Southern African deli around the corner from my work, Ndebele that does fantastic biltong. Particularly the ostrich stuff.

I like jerky too, the stuff they sell in Asda is really nice but I guess there's better stuff out there too.
