Right, I need help setting up the modules on a Joomla site.

The backend system which I would like would take quite a while to do, BUT I guess there is a way round the backend system...For each new item we need to add in the reviews/interviews etc we could just do a html table, and copy that for each one? Then a link to the full interview/review (static content) via "Click here to read more" html link?
Is all this possible? How long do you think it would take for someone to do and a rough cost?
