Any Joy Division fans?

I love them so much, read anything i can on them and listen to anything i can get my hands on, Love Will Tear Us Apart is THE best song in existence, bar none...

Well, actually, the cover of Love Will Tear Us Apart by Susanna and Her Magical Orchestra is amazing too!

I'm looking forward to this film too, spooky, that New Order recently split, and their last material was for the Joy division film soundtrack... :eek:

Yeah thats great too to be honest, just Love will tear us apart stands as my fave for lots of reasons, Disorder and Atmosphere are very good though, i cant think of one song i dont like really!


Also, creepy how similar the actor looks to Ian Curtis... :eek:
 
You ever seen 24hr Party People? I thought the bloke who did that (Sean Harris) was damn good, especially the dancing.

JD track for me, has to be Transmission
 
Looks like a cracking film, its meant to have gone down a storm at Cannes.

The guy that took many of Joy Division's photos in the 70's is the director. Its also filmed in black and white, very gloomy, very JD. Its bases of Deborah Curtis' book 'Touching From a Distance' I think.

My fave JD track is possibly Glass, sends shivers down my spine that does.
