Any laptops with good quality sound?

Hi,

I've been thinking of getting a laptop for a while now, but one thing hit me - they don't seem to have dedicated sound cards. I remember a massive jump in quality going from onboard desktop to my M-Audio card, so will a laptop sound rubbish playing through speakers (eg Aego M 2.1s)? Or are some better than others?

I've found a PCMIA sound card which is supposedly good - the "Echo Indigo" - does anyone have any experience with this?
