If your only going for the beach surely you could have got somewhere a lot cheaper and closer?

Basically you will need loads of small notes one Egyptian pound usually for tipping. Its only ten pence to us but spread a few of them around the staff and they wont be able to do enough for you.

Also make sure you have a pen to fill in your visa on the plane if you havnt done it already.

Take something so you can measure the temperature over there. Nobody will tell you how hot it is this time of year as it might scare you off so if you want to know take something with you.

Shame on you for not doing some temples and pyramids!

We got it for just under £300 PP all inclusive!
Which isnt too bad, and reviews state that the food isnt that bad either.

Pleh, ill leave my dad to sort out all that stuff.
:D

Oh and whatever you do when you arrive at the airport keep a hold of your bags and keep prying fingers out!

Lost my week old DS and few games when it got lifted at Luxor airport.

They will ask for money if you go to the toilet, same with trolleys but tell them where to go. Basically they will look to take advantage of the newbies in the country any way they can.

Wont get any other hassle seeing as your staying in resort.

I hear they like stealing sand, so you're best to not pack any.

Isnt it the water they wash it in that will give me the squits?

HOLY DOUBLE POST BATMAN!

I was actually going to say, don't eat any salad at all! :p But I didn't want to sound like I was trying to scare you or anything. But yeah, if you can, avoid the salad. :)

Without knowing where your going chances are its a 5* place. Part of gaining that rating means all water used must be boiled prior to use so you shouldn't have any problems that way. What you might suffer from is a dodgy gut simply due to the change in diet as everything is so fresh and such a change from your usual diet at home.

Chemists are good across there though and are on a par with what we have, so simply find one and tell them what's up, they will soon sort you and best of all it will likely only cost about 30p in our money.
