Remember fondly Luton and their bloody plastic pitch in the old First Division....Ricky Hill, Mark Stein, Mal Donaghy, Les Sealey....and David Pleat's dance of joy across the turf in horrific beige suit and loafer combination!
Not a die hard fan, but born in Luton and lived there for nearly 25 years, haven't been to a game for a few years but used to get to a few each season, think the last game I went to was the Paint trophy @ Wembley, but then every closet Luton fan was at that
I genuinely hope Luton beat AFC in the final next week. AFC have an awful attitude (both players and fans) and have strolled around then lower leagues as if they own the place.
To be fair both sets of fans got royaly done over, as is normaly the case.
Lets have no bleeding hearts for the previous management of luton though, they were as bad as it gets, it's a shame the league has blanket rulings because of those that take the pi the way they did. Im sure just about every luton fan would agree, they droped on the fans with as much bs as they did everybody else.
That being said, good luck and all the best to what Nick Owen is trying to do with the club, as long as footballs great pyramid continues on, 10 years rolling on, luton could well be in the premier league.
The same could be said of AFC ofcourse.... why not they've done it before
Today would be a great springboard to make that happen... Good luck to both teams, i go slightly with underdog
The BSP is a sucker to get out of, should be like the division above first 3 up then 4 teams below that in a playoff race.
I would like to see AFC Wimbledon get promoted, nothing against Luton but the way Wimbledon were made defunct by that scum MK Dons Chairman & co, they deserve to get back in the league.
Would love to see them beat MK Dons in the league - they will be bitter rivals forever more.
