Any macs have Esata?

do mac's just use standard brackets (ie where you'd have a pci slot in a pc)

never opened a mac (or worked with them that much), my mate does video editing, and an esata icybox would be an awesome backup solution for him..

can i just buy an elcheapo sata-esata bracket and use that?

or do they have their own weird type of sata port

all i want is the bracket, i'm assuming the motherboards have a normal SATA port on them yes?

no point spending £100 when i can spend about £1.50 on the bracket

are they the same ports?
or do mac's have some dumb proprietary custom sata port?

thanks for the help
