Hi,
So it's taken me 6 glorious months to complete my first ever proper website. It has 30 pages and is valid XHTML, which I am proud of
My website is made using wordpress, and I have created 30 custom pages for the site, now I have been backing up these files as I am building them in MAMP on localhost... but how do I go about backing up the database on my proper domain?
I assume I need to package up the html parent folder in ftp as well?
Also how do you guys "sync" your localhost with the live site, new blog posts are being made daily, along with new pages so I need to backup my live site then install each new weekly back up to my MAMP localhost, so I am working on the same site, not one with different nav menu and no blog... like I am doing now. The bigger the site gets the harder it is to work like this :S
Also how do I have 2-3-4 localhost sites, as I will be working and maintaining 3 or more sites in the future.
My ramblings properly make no sense either
