Any multiplayer activity on bf 2/ bad company these days

Hi all, as the title says really, are there any servers on battlefield 2 / bad company 2 these days. Just wondered if it was worth re installing my old battlefield games or should I move on to newer games ( not sure my pc will be up to it though ).

Can't speak for the vanilla games, but I believe the project reality mod for BF2 is pretty lively last time I checked.

really should upgrade to 8gb ram and upgrade the 5770 if you have a quad i5 get it overclocked to 4ghz.

I'd love to get my i5 at 4ghz but I'm clueless when it comes to overclocking, apart from increasing the base clock frequency I know nothing. Only ever got to about 3.1 ghz and not 100% stable at that.

Really want to play BC2 but don't have a DPI switcher on my mouse and DICE forgot to add a vehicle sens slider the derps.

If you mean the old BF2 (not Bad Company) it was pretty lively when I played it last year.

gimme a holler if you want some advice on how to. it's pretty easy. that's the board I originally had my i5 750 running at 3.8-3.9 without much issue

I play BC2 here and there and it's still damn popular. Many feel it's the last decent BF. I really enjoy it still. It's slower pace is very welcome over BF4's cluster ****.

The thing I liked about Bad Company is it wasn't trying to be an all out battlefield game. Where as Battlefield 3 & 4 made so many stupid decisions due to the whole console crowd and EA cash grab mentality.

Holy thread bump Batman!

Just reinstalled the masterpiece that is Bad Company 2 and pleased to find that this still has a vibrant player base (i.e. you can still easily get a game!).

Feel a bit PUBG'd out and wanted to go back to something that I knew was awesome! Anyone else fancy a re-install and games on Discord?
