Any must have gadgets/items for a new home?

Evening.

I've not long bought my first property, I get the keys on the 28th of this Month. I can't wait, I want it to be a pretty ace place to live so I want some ideas.

Currently, I have some motion sensored lights for the stairway and bathroom for the night. Which should be handy to say the least especially with my daughter.

Got some shelving for my monitor and PC which will look smart.

Anything you have in your house that you'd recommend that's a little out of the ordinary or just generally pretty useful/must haves?

Security is a good shout, I didn't even think of that really.

I only drink cold drinks, so I'm going to be getting a fridge/freezer with an ice maker as that's what my parents have and I swear by it.

It's just me that'll be living there, and my daughter on the weekends too. A dog is a good shout tbh, my daughter loves them too and there are quite a few perks to having one.
