I know it's a bit of a pointless thread to start, but I have a asus rampage ii extreme mobo and tbh it's worked perfectly fine since I got it. Part of me is saying if it ain't broke don't fix it, but the other part of me is saying just do it and get the latest bios. I haven't had any stability problems at all and no crashes. Should I just shut it and stop messing?

Cheers guys and be gentle.:o

As you say if it ain't broke don't fix it. Only reason to upgrade bios is for compatibility or stability problems. If you don't have those then leave be :)

I'd say leave it if it's working fine and the newer bios updates don't fix anything you use.

Think about it, if something goes wrong you wreck a totally working board (until you can fix it which'll cost you), if it succeeds you won't know the difference.
