any new monitors coming along to the market?

does anyone know of any new monitors soon to be released to the consumer. my monitor is currently 12 years old and despite it working well I was thinking of getting a new one. what one to get thou for basic gaming? I should really get a new computer as that's 13 years old but high spec hence it copes with the basics I7 chip etc. the choice is so vast these days for an old-timer like myself.

What resolution are you looking at playing at Fourbanks? 1080p/HD or higher?

Also are you using Nvidia or AMD graphics? Basically you want g-sync for Nvidia and Freesync for AMD.

I've only got an nvidia 1650 super graphics card on an I7 processor. I was hoping to be able to get something like a
LG 27GL850-B 27" 2560X1440 NANO IPS 144HZ 1MS FREESYNC/G-SYNC
would the 1650 card work well with that monitor?
