Just wondered if Corsair or any other decent brand company are due a refresh on any of their lines.

I believe XFX have just refreshed their range. Any others?

In the market for a quality 850W Fully modular PSU that will last me 5 years+ with ease.

Was thinking Corsair HX. However, while it's of course amazing... I don't want them to do a refresh in a month or two and top it and I'm left with the older model.

Any other decent ones worth considering?

P.S. has to have a good warranty and RMA returns service. Must be fully modular... only the 24 pin and 8 pin may be hard wired. I wont compromise on this.

Suggestions in a postcard please :D

The Corsair HX is a few years old now, but still a good choice, just cause something better comes out, don't make it worse. :P

AX850 is the next step up and even that has been bettered with a Platinum Series(XFX/Seasonic so far), but there are cost and size implications.

The XFX, Corsair & Seasonic series are pretty similar in build quality as they are all Seasonic OEMs.

Anyone of the above DC to DC 850 W Models will be a good buy. The difference in performance at this level is pretty small as they are all good.

When you have picked one or two, check a review on a good site like www.jonnyguru.com

Thanks for that. I thought the HX was top of Corsair line :eek: Can't believe I didn't know that. Goes to show you.

I'll need to be checking that out :)

It's to go inside a 600T. So kinda looking for the matching labels. I'd imagine the platinum PSU to be a small fortune.
