straight in at 3ghz - 8hours prime stable no probs.

However, anything after his starts to get very flakey.

Above 3ghz was 1.35v, ram 1:1 333x9, ram 2.1v (5,5,5,18 loose timings)

Bumping the fsb up to 340 then prime fails in seconds with a blue screen and a full reboot. Can't read the blue screen as it's only there for a second.

When i boots back up i get the following MS error

C:\DOCUME~1\CHRIST~1.000\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERa528.dir00\Mini121107-04.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\CHRIST~1.000\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERa528.dir00\sysdata.xml

Any ideas? Taken voltage to 1.4v and ram to 2.2v and also put ram speed lower to take that out of the equation but anything over 3ghz and the same thing happens.

My ballistix didn't want to do anything more than than their standard spd setting for the first week of use. I was a bit dissapointed with them, but graduly I managed to push thier speed and timmings a lot harder.
Also seeing as you have had a set go already have you checked they are not getting too hot? For some reason I had disconnected the fan that normally blows onto mine one day and when i touched the heat spreader it almost took my fingerprint off they were so hot.

cheers - still have huge issues with pretty much any settings above 3ghz. Getting the original error most of the time!

still getting the BSOD after about 10 seconds of prime95 and a full reboot instally.

tried 400 x 8 and ram on very slack timings etc but again full reset just after starting prime. 1.4volts through the cpu and MCH +0.2, fsb +0.2 and ram +0.4v

Any ideas??

when ram on auto settings (trying to find the FSB max) one of the settings "Refresh to Act delay" is showing 0 - is that right?

right - finally seem to be getting somewhere. It appears that the gigabyte board has horendous vroop when loaded up.

Set it to 1.425v in the bios and when prime loaded on all 4 cores it droops to 1.328 volts.

Slack ram timings for now but primed overnight @ 3.15ghz
