Any of you have a 360 AND a PS3?

I have been lucky enough to get all the current gen consoles and handhelds for free off a very generous taxi-driving uncle :)

I got a PS3 first then realised there was bugger all to play on it so I had some money in my bank and bought a 360, too. I don't like having two consoles sitting around though as you can only play one at a time. I'm still deciding whether to ditch one now and pick it up again at the end of its life. It would probably be the PS3 as the 60GB with a DS3 controller would fetch a nice price on fleabay, I'm sure. Not really making the most of Blu-ray as I don't have a 1080p TV. I've never had a Sony console before so things like FF, MGS, GT don't mean anything to me.

Then there's no better time like today to try out some of the classic games! MGS1 is an excellent game well worth a go if you find a copy of it :D
As in regards to FFs it just really depends if its your cup of tea or not, not everyone likes JRPGs :) And the GT series are great, but I guess if you have something like Forza2 for the 360 at the moment, not much point in getting the older GT games, just gotta wait till GT5 :)

Wow I'm surprised at how many people have both :D Now I don't feel guilty about going for the two consoles ;) Thanks all!

I've got all three of them (like a few others) they all get played about the same.

The xbox is also the DVD player for the bedroom, the PS3 is the Bluray player for the front room.

Rockband Arrived today, so the PS3 will be getting the most hammer for the next couple of weeks.

I went for both as i bought a 360 beforehand a year before the PS3 was released. I couldnt be fussed to upgrade the PC anymore so resorted to the 360. There wasnt any othe rnext gen console out at the time so that's why i got the 360.

When the PS3 came out i bought it on day of release and have enjoyed it ever since, i love the thing! DS3 pad is excellent. I never found any problems with the original SixAxis and i think its massively overplayed that its got problems on here. I probably prefer the PS3 as its, quieter, More stable, Blu Ray, Better pricing of downloadable games, prefer the controller, free online, extremely better audio!

I do like my Xbox a lot still though, that's why i have kept it!

I've had both at the same time and neither got used much, my PC was king and that's still the case, I got rid of my 360 because most the games end up coming out on PC, Playstation games tend to stay on that platform.

I just don't see there being much of a point to the 360 if you have a high end PC, I know some exclusives aren't there on PC (yet) but they didn't appeal to me anyway, I can't play Mass Effect on the 360 it's too annoying with that frame rate and texture popups.

I have both, well actually I had all three but sold the Wii.

I had a PS3 on the US launch date, and after getting back into gaming after a sort of two yr break, occasionally playing the PS2 and original XBOX but thanks to the PS3 I also ended up treating myself to a 360 shortly after buying the PS3.

I prefer the PS3 out of the two because it doesn't sound like a freakin' jet plane annoying the heck out of me. And I just love it's blu-ray player. I do recommend having both cos the 360 is still a decent enough machine providing you can live with its DVD spin noise.

Out of the two i'd definately say for me the PS3 rules the roost though. GFX there's nothing between the two. It's just nice to power up the PS3 and not even know it's on...

I own a 360, and use a mates ps3 quite often.
Prefer the 360 for online/range of games.
But the ps3 for reliability, looks, and how quiet it is compared to the 360!

Got both here, PS3 was an unexpected christmas present but I'm pretty impressed with both it and the games I have for it (Uncharted, RFOM, Motorstorm, Heavenly Sword). Neither console seem to have much coming out in the next 6 months though, all the big exclusives seem to have been pushed back to next christmas apart from GTA and GT Prologue.

Clearly if I could only have one it would be the 360 since it has far more good games, but with GT5 on the way and a new Wipeout (plus Wipeout HD) I was always going to end up with both. In terms of performance they're very well matched - comparing Assassins Creed on 360 and Uncharted on PS3, both look equally superb (although not quite matching Crysis IMO).

I've posted about having a gaming PC, not needing an XBOX360 before, and I always seem to get flamed for it... hmmm, then again, maybe mostly by Mr Holiday.

It is true though, which is why I have a PC and PS3, and don't have an XBOX360.. If I didn't have a gaming PC however, I'm certain that I would own an XBOX360. Most of the better 360 'exclusive' games, that I'd want to play though, do end up coming to the PC.
