Things is a new (currently in alpha) GTD app that I've been excited about since I saw it! I've recently been using anxiety, but it's started to fill up my mail.app and ical with stuff that I don't want in there, so when my invite came through to test Things, I got a bit excited! If you've used it, what do you think so far?

Yeah, I'm using it. I really like it. The interface feels much more solid compared with Omnifocus. I like the tagging functionality - fits in a bit better with my mental model.

Sorry to bring this topic back up, but I received my invite through e-mail today. It seems like an awesome application so far; the interface is brilliant.

So it syncs to-do lists across iPhone / Mac ?

Had a look at the site, but I can't see the appeal (for me).. other than the nicely done UI :o

I've heard good things about this, though.

It syncs between Mac and Phone but I think you get stung on both platforms, not too sure on that though.

Downloaded the trial. Very nice to use but not for me.

As far as work goes, I already have to use two systems that do a similar job to this anyway so it would seem to me like I was doing everything for a third time. :p

Looks nice though.

It's a great app, but I've decided to stick to pen and paper. Cheaper and works better for me!

I used it a heck of a lot during university - but it just dropped off my major usage list when I finished! I can see myself picking up the full version when I get to uni again for my masters.

I wish I found this back when I was at Uni.

I literally had an A4 list on the wall by my bed listing all the stuff that had to be done. Was nice crossing them out as I completed them, but I could never really gauge how many things I needed to do at any one time.

One example, I had recording studio time booked to record some things (obv) and also had about 10/11 written assignments. Of those 10/11, about 2 were urgent and the studio time was a few weeks behind those so at a glance it just wasn't obvious.

Of course, I did it.. but this would have made more sense.

The bad thing about the iPhone/Computer syncing is that it can only work locally, device-to-device on a wireless network. So you have to remember to start up the iPhone version in proximity of your computer before going on your way.

Hopefully they'll start offering synchronization over the net to their web server, like Zenbe Lists does.
