Any Office guru's here?

I am in need of some help, and MS technical support not so great today.

I have Office Pro Plus 2016 through the home use programme on my main rig.

Previously I picked up an office 365 license I used on a laptop.

I have been notified it is coming to an end and I hadn't intended renewing it to be honest.

However when I checked my account it showed my main rig as being an activated 365 install. On further inspection the license section shows me having both a 365 license and a 2016 license.

I deactivated the install through my account and reinstalled 2016 pro plus but low and behold it is showing as a 365 install?

Really confused. At the end of ym 365 license period will my Office install just simply revert back to being a pro plus license?

Do you want your laptop to use the 2016 license? It has not been too clear from your description.

suspect you just need to remove current license/activation and re-start per here
(I was using a 365 free years subscription, but now reverted to an earlier version)

Yes my install has both the office 365 and hup office 2016 activations. I tried those command prompts but no dice.

Essentially I need to remove the office 365 element leaving my main rig with 2016 hup version
