Any Old World Of Warcraft Players ?

Oh damn I forgot you had to log in, I just made a big detailed post about my account.

I am seeing people with worse gear going for 250+ euros :eek:
 
Are wow accounts still even worth anything? Been away from serious warcraft since soon after burning crusade came out. Should have sold my Rank 13 at the time :p

Nope, in TBC I sold my Paladin for a small fortune ... when I stopped playing WoTLK back in March I eagerly hit the account trading circuit for a payout from my hours of tedious grinding to find that even accounts featuring several top level, well geared characters were going for nothing.
 
I sold a Belf paladin plus a few random alts for £350 a few months back on "a popular auction site", I was lucky that I caught it when paladins were FotM and I was running with pretty much best in slot ret gear.
Saying that I have seen a couple of toons that were 5times better than what I sold go for around £100, so I guess its luck of the draw and just getting the right mug *cough I mean person* at the right time.
 
Reminds me of the Ultima Online days. Selling gold for £30 per million and I flogged a tower and a keep for £700.

Eventually sold the account for about £300.

The wife could never understand it, but the money was certainly welcome.. :)
 
Ye I sold my account back in the day for about £80, 2 characters were at 70/70 at the time full epic etc - kinda regret it now as I ended up making a new account.

I'm on the hunter for a nice cheap account with a level 80 lock though, email me if you have one ;)
 
I would be interested in valuating my account but even though I have quit WoW, and MMOs previously have never been able to bring myself to sell the accounts ;)

Probably would not let my account go for anything less than £500-750. :)
 
I might sell my account, got 4 levels 80s and a lot of very high level alts on horde and alliance (both pvp and pve servers)

Main char is a warrior with full uld 25 tanking gear, then got an uldaur 10 geared shaman and warlock. Last 80 is a naxx 25 geared rogue - all alliance

Epic flyers on 4/5 chars, including 1 lv 71 priest and around 6 maxed out profs spread across my alliance chars (all on the same server)
 
Aren't you the guy who got his account hacked twice in a week? Why would anyone give you an account just for it to get hacked? :p

I have an account that has been frozen for around 6 months with 4 level 80s (mage, priest, warlock and paladin) plus a hunter and druid somewhere around 70-72. I'd love to get rid of it, but would only give it away to someone I knew. I doubt it's worth much though as none of my characters have great gear and the 6 epic flying mounts meant a lot more pre-WotLK.

If your account has been hacked, and you have had GM involvement, then I pity the person that buys it from you as it will be marked and flagged on Blizz's system.

As soon as they see any changes in anything on the account (especially billing) they will freeze the account.

If your upfront on your sale about being hacked, then you wont get a great deal of interest or it will go for a very very low price because of the reasons above
 
how much could i get for a wow+tbc+woltk account with a level 74 rogue that has over 6k gold? :P
I obviously don't expect getting a lot for it, but at least what I paid for the game's copies... let alone the hours of farming mats :P

Thunderfury is not worth anything since Warriors could solo MC.

What titles?

Probably not worth a lot, my alt warrior is roughly equipped the same.

Just what I would not let it go for less than.

The materials/currency are probably worth half that alone.
Season 1 Gladiator (Rank 1) and Associated drake
More epics than you can shake a stick at etc etc
