As title really :D
Sure they can be expensive. So what? You're getting retro fun! :D

We may be moving soon. And my mum has seen a house with a cellar, a huge one, in which i've convinced her I can have :D So hopefully, i'll be storing a lot of arcade machines down there.

I'm very interested in getting the Star Wars ones (yeh, i'm a fan!)
The ones i'm looking at are the
Star Wars Trilogy 3D (where you sit in the chair and got a choice of either the Ep 4 Trench run, Ep 5 Hoth Battle, Ep 6 speeder chase)
I'm also looking at the Ep1 pod racing machine!
I'd be very happy with a streetfighter II turbo machine too!

Anyone else collect arcade machines then?

I don't collect them but a cellar done out as an arcade room sounds SO sweet - you are lucky! (but will be poor after buying an arcade machine I expect! ;))

got a fruit machine and thats as far as i go

would dearly love a pinball machine but space / cost of maintenance is too high for one really

if i had a cellar to myself an unlimited money though :D

Im not really into the old arcade type machines, but as the above poster has said, Pinball Machines are where its at, ive got Adams Family, Stargate and Terminator2 machines, I only have one setup at the moment, all bought from Ebay and been fully restored by me and me dad, great fun.

I'd love a T2 Pinball machine. Was addicted to it at uni. :D

REALLY wish I had the space for one but I am having to suffice with a control panel unit. I plan on starting the build properly this weekend once I get the nack of the router (thats the wood cutting tool not network related ;) ). I started it originally a couple of months back but after destroying my piece of Lexan plastic by not having the right skills to do it properly I gave up.
Yesterday I got the bug again though!

I'd love to get my hands on an original sit down star wars arcade machine. the old wire frame game from episode iv would do nicely. Ok so there's mame, ut it's just not the same.

im interested in having my own mame arcade, but i cannot build the the acutal shell (me + powertools = dial 999 :( ), is there any place where i could get the pieces pre cut?
