Any one on here follow any irish league teams? im a glentoran fan incase my name didnt give it away haha 
Northern Irish league?! God NO! Lived up there for nearly 4 years and watched the footie on bbc ni a few times... Appaling standards of football (I could probably be a first team keeper even if I haven't done a lick of exercise in 5 years).
On the plus the glens have that kid all the prem are fighting to buy for 100k who looks alright! Is he the same kid who scored the goal that was nominated for goal of the season last season? (Fifa goal of the season as it was better than messi).
Only other plus for the NI irish league is its about as good as the league of Ireland (which I'v also had a bit of a watch of). Both have the very occasional flash of brilliance but a lot of 'physical' football
(which most southampton fans are screaming for annoyingly)
Anyway are the glens ever going to paint over that silly man with a flat cap you can see on the side of the oval when driving to the airport??
(just as silly as the crusaiders on the side of the crusaiders stand)

You're probably the best person on here to ask what this Rory Donnelly kid is like.
Liverpool, Everton and Swansea are all supposed to have had bids accepted for him in the last few weeks.
And Brentford...
We'd been tracking him for quite some time, as had Burnley and Peterborough, but felt that the splashing out £100,000 on someone as untested as him was a bit of a risk - heard he's got a lot of talent though, so I'm sure it'll come back to bite us in the behind!
Linfield fan here I suppose, though only because i started going to games with mates that support them. I still think the atmosphere at windsor park is better than any of premiership games ive been to (fulham, arsenal, man city, and liverpool a load of times). haven't followed it though since I moved to the mainland
Does he stand out due to the quality of the Irish league? Or do you think he might have prem potential?

I wouldnt say he stands out as the best of the best myself but im sure many would disagree.
But when you beat linfield then lose to dungannon and draw at home with the ports, not much can be said haha
He's set to play in a friendly today against Hereford to give him, Situ and Tate a run out. Lets see how he has settled in.
Linfield fan here, personally think the atmosphere at Windsor well outlives the oval, been to many matches and the crowd have never ceased to amaze me. Glentoran wish they had a player worth 100k, but who knows what this new player is like. Maybe a new George Best? EH? I doubt it....
