Any one getting Moto GP 07

Got it, tried it, got bored, turned it off to never try it again.

I love the concept of bike racing in a game, and i always look forward to the new Moto GP then get disappointed as its just as crap as the one off the year before.

Save yourself £20 and buy Moto GP 06, its exatly the same only minus this years bike designs.
 
This years is better than last years, it is a lot easier to just pickup and ride. Lots of backing it in, power slides and drifting it out. a lot more Arcade, I think theres an option to make it more 'sim' but I havent touched that.
 
I'm waiting to hear from people who completed top difficulty whether its harder or easier than the last. I could win right upto the top difficulty on the last one, get pole and get knocked off all the time in the first couple of corners. I spent most of the time resetting trying to get going. The ai could ram you off and never come off themselves.

That was the most frustrating for me.
 
I got it on PS2. This one is made by Capcom which is different to the last few I think. For me, I find:

Arcade mode = Way to arcadey to the point where it's ridiculously unrealistic. I mean leant right over on the grass with full power going throug the rear and it sticks...ok.

Advanced mode = Much better but its still unrealistic in that you can't seem to highside it or get the back riiiight out to the point of stacking unless your being a complete (and I mean a complete!) 4rse. Also you can smash into people and youll both be fine.

Simulation mode = Much better but unfortunately too hard!!! It is doable but its just too tedious. And its like your rear tyre is made of wood. You lean right over in a corner and the front will just go for no reason. Thats with using the balance thing as well.

Bit of a dissapointment for me frankly. First time I played PS2 in a while, forgot how dated it looks.
