Edit / seems no is the answer, set of peasants :p
There were various threads to reserect but
chose.to do a new one as I have broken my maui Jim's again, I think a repair is £90 ISH and fancy a change.
Never wanted to get a luxotica brand as they nearly all are but any one got a pair of persols especially this one ? just like the look but how are the lenses ? as the mauis are amazing
Also the general quality as I don't want a £10 pair with a few hundred quid mark up
Apparently my image accordin to a woman I was talking to is outdoor affluent (hope she didn't say effluent and I misheard her)

Don't Oakley still have guarantees on the frames - probably 10 years ago I had a replacement M-frame gratis, before moving to flak-jackets;
would definitely have to reconsider polarisation though so they would work with tablet screens in cars & HUDS.

At the risk of being serious in this thread... I ordered a pair of the folding in plum colour that looked great on the website but when they arrived they were more of a pinky purple and reminded me of something Christopher Biggins would wear so sent them back and got a pair of the non folding in black. Once I saw them I wasn't convinced of the benefit and the extra cost of the foldability as I would never carry a case around for them nor would I fold them up and put them in my pocket. Maybe if you were one of those lads that carry a daft little bag over your shoulder they would work but that’s not for me.
I have a lot of pairs, living in a rather sunny place, and these are up there with the best in terms of build and lens quality. The lenses aren't as good as the Oakley Prism, which for me are the very best, however Oakleys aren't anywhere near as stylish as these although recent designs are getting better. I'd rank the Persol second behind a pair of Vuarnet I got in France that are better all round. The Rayban Chromance lenses are almost as good, quite a bit cheaper plus they have a broader range.

I wear polarised shades for most of my driving and it's not caused me any issues with screens in cars across multiple manufacturers. YMMV but I don't think it's as big an issue as some say.

Lens wise my mauis are amazing and one of the few non luxotica brands but I am falling out with the style , I have the peahi with ultra thin glass brown lenses

That may be so but they aren't exactly stylish are they? Maybe good if you are a 20 year old surfer dude (which you might be, if so apologies!)

Well I am 61 , see the two guys on the begining of this video (actually an ad to music one pair are persols, not sure about the other) this is the image I am trying to cultivate as I drift across on the Rock ferry for my coffee in Padstow and to charm some lucky females
