I was thinking of one as a join chrimbo present for our house this year.
Any one have one of these LG 37LF66 37" Full HD 1080p Freeview LCD TV

I have the 47" LF65 which I am sure it's just the same as the 66 model which arrived today and if the 37" is anything like the 47" it will be great. I got this as a replacement for my old sony RPTV and it was a bargin at £995
Initial out of the box picture was a bit dissapointing but with some tweaks and enabling the XD colour engine thing SD stuff looks as good as ever.
Plus playing stuff on the 360 @ 1080P never looked so good. GOW still looks amazing.
The only downside I have for mine at the moment is a cluster of dead pixels but this will be sorted out next week with a replacement set. Just waiting to get my HD drive back and then I can watch Transformers again in HD and marvel at it's loveliness.
The reviews for the 42" model highlight an issue with black levels looking faded and pixelated which is present on some things but doesn't really detract from the whole performance of the unit. Certainly I noticed it on the demo model I saw in store but again with tweaks to the colour settings and brightness levels I have adjusted to a level which looks fine to me.
