Hey guys.

Im just wondering if any one heres got Asthma, and what where there sypmtoms before they had it?

When they are diagnosed with it, do you need any surgery etc....

Thanks

I used to suffer from it a lot when i was around 8-10, but I grew out of it, so I thought. But mine can be triggered from allurgic reactions, especially to dogs+cats. I ended up in A&E a couple of years back when I stayed at my ex girlfriends house, they had a very hairy dog, and made me rather ill after staying so long there.

You either grow out of it, or you have it for a long time, there isn't a cure as such, just inhalers for when you're tight chested and struggling to breathe.

No you don't need surgery for asthma. You could be in hospital if you have a severe/moderate attack of it.

It can be well controlled with the right combo of meds and a lot of people tend to outgrow it completely by the time they reach their teens.

I feel real tight chested, and extremly tired.

Ive had to have a day of school because of it, its gotten worse over the past few days, im thinking it could be a chest infection.

Ill get my mum to make me an appointment asap :(

Indeed. It does vary a lot.

I grew out of mine, which as a kid was pretty bad sometimes.

My girlfriend has it and she never seems to get better. She always need her inhaler about and stuff like cat hairs / dust can really give her a hard time.

I have or used to have asthma (haven't been to get it checked up for ages) never really effected me apart from when the air was cold, i am still allergic to asprin and ibroprufen as a result though? Just get yourself down to the doc's they will be able to diagnose you pretty fast.
