Hello.

Just wondered how many people here juggle, and if they have any decent links to some websites with some well explained tricks? Also, what balls do you use (with links :))

I have juggled with 3 balls doing basic tricks since I was about 10 (21 now) but learnt how to juggle clubs a couple of years ago. Through boredom at work I recently learn to juggle 4 balls, and have spent to last hour trying to juggle 5 balls (I can do one lot of it but can't keep it going)

So yeah, who juggles, any tips for juggling with 5, because I find that after the first lot go round, my throws become off and it all becomes more like a column, leading to balls hitting each other.

on a rare occasion i can juggle 5 balls, most of the time it ends up like you said.
i think its a case of practice, get used to having the balls in the air and in good motion.
i used to be able juggle 3 bread knives, catching the blade not the handle, that was fun learning!

can juggle 3 balls against a wall and against the floor.

would like to learn how to do more, but couldnt commit time to doing it

Yeah I know I just need to put time into practicing. I want to learn 5 because its much more rewarding and impressive that just 3. Considering today I couldn't even work out where the balls would go if I had 5 im quite please with the progress, just have to put some time in.

I like juggling knives too but only with the handle, lol.

try juggling with 4 balls. 2 in each hand just like you would juggle 2 in one hand. It gives the impression your crossing over but.... guess what... your not. I can juggle 3 in one hand and do a few tricks. Catch the ball on the back of my neck n flick it up. More of a bordem thing that some thing to be proud of.

i found using the blade easier due to the weight of the handle and the way the blade would rotate in the air. it meant a slower movement through the air and no grabbing at the handle :D

I can juggle 4 already, but I want to do 5....

The standard tricks I can do are like the neck catch etc, but I want to be able to do stuff like this kid - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGsVxx14wzU

It is great fun when bored, but if you're good, i think it is something to be proud of :)

I suppose if you know you're going to be catching the blade, nothing to take you by surprise :p

many years ago, i picked up a book called the clutz guide to juggling. It came with some bean bags! Havent looked back since. Doesnt mean i dont drop them still though :p

i can do 3, took me a week to learn how to juggle 3 to a good standard.

never really thought about doing it further. where can i learn how to do 4? i dont know the method for it, thinking about it i cant imagine how to do it

Well i was surprised at how much better with 5 I got in a couple of hours last night. I reckon 15 mins practice every other night and Ill have it soon enough. I picked up juggling with 4 balls in about 30 mins once I realised the balls aren't supposed to cross over.
