I have a Asus P7P55 LX and the Vcore undervolts heavily under load, Idle: 1.45V, under load: 1.30V.
The motherboard only has a P4 12V and does not have the additional P4E connector.
So I can only overclock an i5 750 to 3.6Ghz @1.1V under water cooling. temperatures only 42c under load. It just will not provide a stable Vcore higher than 1.1V.
Is it worth getting a slightly upper end motherboard?
