Any tips for LMP2?

Not bad at racing, have completed up till now on serious (though with TC on) and finished first in Le Mans a couple of times with the Murcielago. Brought myself a LMP2 and I can't keep up in the high speed corners. I'm fine in the slow speed but tried multiple tactics for the high speed and whenever I hit the corner at the same approx speed I end up in the wall.

Specifically Le Mans Tetre Rouge and Porsche Curves:

I'm guessing this is like F1 where you need the speed to get the downforce. Where do you brake/lift off for Tetre Rouge? I can feel I'm not handling the car properly but she doesn't want to help.

Seems like all my years of GT1/2/3/4, TOCA1/2/3 and recently Forza3 have been been a waste...

All constructive suggestions appreciated.

Cheers,
Cheesy.

They are tricky corners, I tend to brake late and lift on entry into tetre rouge to bring the back round enough before laying on the power when it looks like I'll make it out. As for Porsche curves, I might lift a bit going into them but they're power on all the way once I'm into them.

I tend to slide around tetre rouge and almost hit the barrier. The porsche curves i've finally nailed, I can never do it on the first lap, but on the 2nd I can go flat easy through them.

Out of interest what is everyones best time?

edit. Does anyone else go flat through the ford chicanes?

Cheers folks, will give it a go this evening.

Did notice the bots kick the back end out and slide round Tetre Rouge. Maybe I should disable TC and try power sliding instead off understearing off the track.
