any one use readyboost?

ive only got 2gb memory in my laptop and ive been looking at getting a usb pen drive and setting it up to use readyboost on vista, any one here use this and think that it is worth it?

2 gig is fine for vista cant see ready boost making any difference

Which is why I have never bothered trying it out either, but I'm all ears if anyone can comment on whether it makes any difference or not. :cool:

i checked up on this, anything below should perhaps consider using readyboost, anything 2GB+ doesnt really need it.

any current vista laptop will take 1gb DDR2 sticks its around £14 per gig dont waste time with very slow usb pendrives, false economy.

Readyboost in tests only makes any difference to a machine less than 1GB of RAM in it.

I've got a 4GB SD card perma shoved into my 2GB XPS1530 just for the sake of it. On my main 4GB desktop rig I've got the service disabled.

thats why i was gonna give readyboost a go
