Hi all ive got the xfx 780i with the e8400 & crucial B 8500 ram im a serious noob never overclocked in my life ive read as much as i can & have a pretty good idea but im wanting to to know if i set my fsb to 1600=3600mhz do i go up by 20mhz steps or can i put i staight at that as i see these processers do it with ease & do i need to alter any fan speeds & also the main advice how do i go about my ram i can unlink it as its set at the minute to 5-5-5-15 2t @ 1066mhz or i see people set to synced & my bios seems to have a auto for the ratio as i dont have a clue but guessing running this at this fsb with 1-1 ratio would be under running the ram 800mhz right & if i changed it to 1-2 would be to much??
