I've just seen an almost identical bike not get any interest at £1350 Buy It Now on Ebay with 22k gen miles. got to be the balls out performance bargain of the decade, what's the world coming to!
Was thinking about selling and getting a 10R but had one look at prices and decided to do my shims, balance the carbs and keep it until the wheels fall off.

What you got?.

nice bike man, but there is no way on earth a ZX9 with 141bhp is gonna put in a 10.1 1/4

always had a soft spot for the 9, shame kwak let the competition romp away for to long before they finally replaced it... looks like yours is sorted though :)

i have a 10, and love it to bits, after all work done on it it's the best bike i've ridden by far, well... no way near the best handling, but certainly the most scary, by a very long way. the stock 10s since 2006 onwards are quite tame...

I've got a BROS 400 winter hack to battle my way through winter and a black Triumph speed four for tearing up the roads when its a bit warmer :)

2000 SV650S
Hagon progressive fork springs (+10W oil)
ZX10R rear shock
Quick action throttle (R6 mod)
Obligatory (for a V-twin) loud exhaust
Lower fairings, seat cowl, double bubble screen

Had an 06 ZX6R, which was written of by some chimp, picking up the new ride tomorrow - 58 plated 07 R1. Happy days :D

Scort.

I own a 1994 Kawasaki ZXR 750 L2, lovely beast of a bike if you don't mind a bit of wrestling through the bends. :p

Very quick in its day and not to be sniffed at even against today's bikes.

I had a KE100 like above :P (I used it off road)

Was amazing fun :D

... I would like a proper bike :(

I'm guessing from your username you have an interest in Guzzis? If so, enjoy the following ;):
1980 Moto Guzzi V50-II - restored after spending 18 years in a garage, cracking little bike... not a huge amount of power but very light and good fun. Currently on SORN as it's not getting any use, and there's no way I can bring myself to sell it.
1992 BMW K75RT - nice enough hack, great weather protection and effortless ride, especially for a big tourer, but just a little, well, dull. Will probably sell it once the new motor is fully sorted out.
1992 Moto Guzzi Spada III - 1,000cc of torquey V-twin goodness. A little cosmetically challenged at the moment but goes, and sounds, as any V2 worth the name should. Weighs a bit too much for my liking, more than even a K100, but you can't have everything. Well, not on my budget anyway.

99 plate Suzuki GSXR750 (fuel injection model)
Requires a new rear hoop and awaiting an electrician to take the ***** Datatool alarm off as it sometimes won't disarm:mad:
It has actually shut the bike off mid-bend once:eek:

2007 Triumph Daytona 675, bit of a beast compared to my old 400's, twice the power and the same weight :D

1989 Honda VFR400, currently in the garage awaiting conversion to race bike for the 2009 BMCRC Formula 400 series, should be good fun, if expensive :o :)

i had to pull a meta alarm off my zx12 as it kept going wrong.. they are worse than they look though. most likely 3 pairs of black wires coming from alarm which give 3 points of imobilisation, all you have to do is trace them back, cut them off and splice the wire they interupted back together. (all wires are black so someone knicking your bike cant identify them, but once you trace them you soon find out)

3 points on the 12 were fuel pump under tank, once feed from battery and another misc one I wasn't sure where it was going (probably ECU)

longest part of the job was stripping bike to get to all 3 points...
