I currently use a wired Xbox 360 controller.

I want to go wireless.

My two options:
  • Xbox 360 wireless controller (£32) + official receiver (£14)
  • Xbox One wireless controller (£50) + official receiver (£20)

Are there any PC games that currently even take advantage of the extra features of the Xbox One controller?

MS being MS  some new Win 10 store games do not even work at launch on the XB1 wireless controller but work fine on the Xbox 360 wireless controller!

i found the xbox one controller to be more accurate than the 360. not sure i would pay £50 for it though.
think i got it for about £25 as an offer when i bought the xbox.

I brought the Elite controller not so long ago. It is a really nice piece of kit, feels very solid and well made. I especially like having the extra choice of using the lower triggers or not, I found them better for action type games. The interchangeable sticks are also nice although not sure where I'd use them as I prefer the shorter sticks anyway.

If it's worth the money or not is entirely down to the individual and not something I can answer but for me I'm happy I spent the extra on a good controller.

The elite controller is currently £100 on HUKD.
Personally that is still too rich for my blood, I think something like the Steam controller offers a more unique experience and if that's not your thing, just grab the normal Xbox controller.
