Any performance\visual difference using a 9900k or a 8700k or a 2700x?

I am buying a new PC which I will build myself.

My question is with the below 2080ti and monitor, will I see a performance\visual difference using a 9900k or a 8700k or a 2700x?

I will be gaming on it most of the time. Games will be MMOs, RPGs and the odd shooter like Doom.

Your on a 100hz G-Sync Screen @ 1440p.. id say no, not much if anything at all, you will be fps capped pretty much with that card at that Resolution regardless of CPU. If you buy the 2700X, next year we will be getting Zen2 which potentially looks like beating the 9900k as well, potentially by a decent margin as well.

Of course you could buy the 9900k if your not interested in swapping anything and that will keep you going for a good while yet, just make sure you get decent cooling on it. At this point in the day there is almost zero reason to buy the 6 core 8700k as well, not with the 2700x and 9900k available now and AMD zen2 coming next year.
