I am leaning towards getting the Phanteks case with a view to sticking 2 x 480 rads in there. However I would really like to see some builds that people have already done. This is because I am finding it really hard to visualise how it would all look when all the tubing, rads etc is there. I am also interested to know if you can get the rads in without having to take a dremel to the case.

Reading the official spec oif the case it seems that you can get them in ok, but from looking at the pictures I have seen I can''t see how it all goes in. Maybe I have just got a poor imagination.

do you reckon you can get an alphacool monsta in the bottom ?

dimensions are: (LxWxH): 522 x 124 x 86mm . I am thinking monsta in the bottom and an xspc EX 480 in the roof.

480mm monsta will fit in the bottom.

Manual states up to 480mm length 125mm wide for the bottom rad; if it's wider than 125mm it'll foul on the drive bay cover.

thanks, looking at the pictures on OCUK there is one last thing I am confused about. The picture with the red/white build shows a 240rad in the bottom. If you put a 480 in there do you have to hack out a HDD rack from the front end or is there space all the way to the front of the chassis ?

this is the picture

what is behind the panel at the end of the 240 rad in the bottom front of the chassis. If anyone has this case some internal shots would be much appreciated.

I can see on Scotty's build that the 480 is in the bottom, and he has a 240 squeezed in to the other side, but do you have to hack out drive bays to get the 480 in ?

You can look at mine link in signature ;)

In hindsight I would have chosen 480rads that are the correct width (125mm) not the XTX one I use in the bottom. Reason being you can't screw in all the mounting screws on the underside and it's hard up against the bulkhead that separates the psu chamber.
