Any physx card to add to the 7970 card?

Hi,

I recently played Mafia 2 and liked the physx effects.
Could you suggest any nvidia cheap card to supplement my 7970 setup?
If it were fanless that would be even better.

Well ive got a GT 640 single slot from zotac. It works pretty good in any game but borderlands 2 where the results are mixed. The batman games are fine though. Cant say about mafia 2 but I wouldn't be surprised if it works somewhat okay. Though I would recommend one step above the gt 640. Also heard a rumor that the GTX 500 series was/is better performers as a dedicated PhysX PPU.

I think you can download nvidia drivers and use your cpu to do the physX.

PhysX games already use the CPU where there is no Nvidia GPU present.

But its completely cut down and bOrked, even on an i7
