Any plans to bring in 90nm S754 Athlon 64...?

A few sites are starting to stock them, like the 3000+ for example - would be good to pair with a cheaper S754 board, and not having to buy two sticks of RAM for dual channel - for a kind of budget user who doesn't want to have Sempron in the name, but Athlon?

Do overclockers plan to get them in? (assuming they're available from amd)

From what I've seen from the people on here who've had one they are mad overclockers aswell, could give a massive speed boost to some users.

Get Gibbo on the case! he got the dual core opterons.. but i think he spends so much time wheeling and dealling that he doesn't heep up to date so his responce might be something like:

"i didnt know you could get 90nm Athlon 64s on socket 754"

but once he knows there's a demand for them, judging my his results from the opterons they'll be in stock within a week

I'd personally like to see the mobile 754 chips aswell, but they're fairly pricey.

The mobile 3700's are good aswell, was just looking on xtremesystems... Any 754 that can do 3ghz is always going to go down well!

mobile on auction sites in computing (not components!) and not only will you find a couple of newarks, you wll also see a genuine es yonah dual ocre :eek:

Turions are a bit of a hit or miss though, so I've heard, some will clock well, others won't. Luck of the draw I guess.

Turions are very hard to get from what i've seen, not yet found a UK site selling them.

Is there much difference between a Turion and a regular Mobile-DTR?

130 nanometre = dtr
90 nanometre = turion

Turion = 1.2v-1.35v
DTR = 1.5v

Hi guys, there is a UK site selling ML34', 37's, 42's and 44's. £401.79 for the 44. Thats a lot of money for a 2.4ghz chip.

Have you seen what Meths has gone and got here .
