I was on my 360 today and was thinking why people moan about the noise. Even with the sound on only a reasonable level it drowned out the noise from the 360. What the hell is the problem?

well it seems some are quiter than others ? is there anyway to tell which ones may be quieter ?

am looking at second hand ones so its something i could ask the seller , like model number or something?

totally random, same drive, fans in one can be quiet and in another totally different. Its pot luck!

Guess it depends on the person then, personally my PC is louder than my 360 anyway and since that's on 24/7 I'm not really concerned about the 360 at all. :cool:
