Any plasterers?

Evening all!

Going to get some quotes to get my living room walls skimmed over before redecorating, and was looking for a rough price so i know i wont be ripped off

Want to pay a fair price for a fair job, if you get me

The room dimensions are;

2.5m High
7.5m long
3m wide.

There are massive french doors at one side which take up pretty much the whole wall, and a massive window on the other end, so really just 2 full walls and the small areas around the window/doors.

What?

Pretty sure you have to pva the walls first, let it go off and plaster over it.

Had a guy over tonight, he starts fri, says 2/3 days.
Had loads of references with him and photos of previous work.
Price £400, includes boarding up the hole in the wall where the fireplace used to be.

Happy with that, so will keep you posted when he starts.
