im using the razer kraken pro v2 headphones, non usb connected to my external asus xonar u7 usb sound card.. im using the external because before i changed the case and motherboard i tried a pcie asus and creative sound card and could hear interference in the headphones. both units were brand new sealed from ocuk.

would there be any point in upgrading my sound card that i have and getting an internal pcie one? im guessing the interference will be gone now with my new setup? and if so which sound card?

thanx in advance.

thanx man il just stick with what i have and try the dolby headphone surround thing, sounds like a plan?
any idea why i was getting interference before?

No I would stick to external sound cards / dacs.
thanx guys, always external sound cards and never buy internal? lol
what sample rate and bit depth do i want? 192 24? i have xonar software set on headphones and also the virtual surround thing in dolby software on headphones max level
