Any point in getting a wireless router ?

I was having problems with my Fujitsu FDX310 ADSL modem with my newly upgraded 8 meg connection so i had to use my old speedtouch USB modem with new 8 meg drivers.

Its working fine, but i wondered if there was any advantage to me getting a wireless speedtouch router (580i) over the speedtouch USB modem ?

I do have a nintendo DS that i use via Wi-Fi usb thingy at the moment but thats all really.

The only reason to get a wireless router is if you are going to make use of the wireless feature which is something only you can decide on based on how much you want to use your DS wirelessly.
