Hello guys,

This may seem a little odd but is there any point trying to sell an Asus Xonar D2X that has developed a fault? I bought it some years back and used it for quite a while but the power connector on the card became faulty and I struggled to get the card to stay on. I eventually replaced it.

Basically is it possible someone in the know could fix it? Seems such a waste to throw it away. Id like to get a little bit of money for it, maybe just let people bid on it. Would anyone want it? Such a good card when it works.

Thanks.

somebody will buy it. if its only the power connector that's faulty then it's an easy fix for somebody hand with an iron and the d2x is still a very capable card.

Not sure how Asus managed to have such problems with the floppy connectors they put on some of the Xonar cards. When I used to use floppy drives all those years ago, never did the connector come loose. It clicked in and that was that.

Anyway, as above; I'm sure someone will buy it.

Someone might buy it, depends on what an equivalent is worth and whether it's worth the time to fix.

Might be hard to shift if it's not that much but I'm sure someone will take it for free.
